Privacy policy

Your journal

Profile names, blood pressure readings, optional pulse, measurement and entry times, and notes are stored in the app’s private storage. Your language preference is stored separately. Pressura does not require an account or upload your journal to a Pressura server. The manual-entry app has no advertising or analytics SDK, and does not request camera, photo library, or Apple Health access.

Storage, recovery, and device backups

The app keeps a local recovery copy of the current saved journal, not an archive of deleted entries. Storage relies on your device’s operating-system protections; there is no separate Pressura password or app-level encryption. Device backups or transfers may include app data depending on system settings. Pressura does not operate cloud synchronization or control copies in system backups.

Reports you choose to share

PDFs can include a profile name, readings, times, notes, averages, and charts. Preview, saving, printing, or sharing can create copies outside the journal, including temporary copies managed by the operating system or another app. Check the recipient and content before sharing. Deleting journal data does not delete PDFs, messages, printouts, or older device backups.

Deletion and retention

You can edit or delete individual readings, remove an additional profile, or delete all journal data from Privacy & support. A successful journal deletion updates the local recovery copy too. We cannot read or remotely delete your on-device journal. Keep any reports you need before deleting data or uninstalling the app.

This website and purchases

The website is hosted by Google Firebase Hosting. Connection information, such as IP addresses and request/browser details, may be processed by the hosting provider to deliver and protect the website. We have not added advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or a mailing-list form. Apple processes App Store purchases under its own policies; Pressura does not receive your card details.

Support and your rights

If you email us, we and our email provider process your address and the information you choose to send to respond to your request. Please do not send health records or identifying screenshots unless necessary; redact them first. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the request and applicable obligations. Contact the publisher below about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights under applicable law. On-device journal controls remain the way to manage records we do not hold.

Changes

We will update this policy when the app or its data handling changes. The date above identifies this version. New data-sharing features would require an updated explanation and any permissions or consent required by law.
